White Zones

White Zones are population centers that have been built in the years following the invasion. Some of these are smaller districts within a larger hive sprawl, but most of them are planned arcologies that were constructed on empty tracts of land. These gated communities tend to be reserved for Tau and Xenos dignitaries, highranking members of Trade Cartels, and citizens and employees that have been vetted and deemed trustworthy.

The highest level of security is reserved for these compounds, which are also called “Ghe’t’au’s”. The walls are heavily fortified, and checkpoints enforce stringent searches. Shield generators ensure that locals are protected from mortar or missile attacks undertaken by Imperialist insurgents. Inside, the streets are clean and pleasant.

The biggest and most famous White Zone is Nyo’To’Kyo, where most highranking Tau officials and their offices reside.
